txstHacks Code of Conduct
txstHacks is dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone. All participants, organizers, mentors, and sponsors are expected to follow this Code of Conduct throughout the event.

Expected Behavior
- Be kind, considerate, and respectful in speech and actions
- Listen to others and value differing opinions
- Use inclusive and welcoming language
- Help create a collaborative, harassment-free experience
- Respect personal boundaries and space
Unacceptable Behavior
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind
- Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, or technology choices
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
- Sustained disruption of talks, workshops, or other events
- Unwelcome sexual attention or physical contact
- Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behavior
Reporting and Enforcement
- If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please contact a txstHacks organizer immediately. You can also email us at txsthacks@txstate.edu.
- All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality.
- Organizers will take appropriate action, which may include warning, expulsion from the event, or contacting local authorities.
